Summer Nationals 13 to 14 June 09

Did not attend .

FIA Main Event 22 to 25 May 09

Friday Arrived at pod and spent the day setting up.

Saturday Started car for first time with new rockers and all ok. went out for a run did burn out and launched hard and straight till Jim had to shut of because his visor lifted and lost his vision, car was popping a bit in the shut down area. Back at the pits we found 3 plugs were shot especially no 2 plug also no 8 exhaust rocker adjuster was broken, amazingly we found a spare.

Sunday Tried to warm up the car but something was wrong under further investigation found that no 2 exhaust valve had a hole in it and also the valve seat was torched, which put us out of the demonstrations.

Monday We have a big birthday in the camp this will make him smiley (big clue) click hear to see Happy 65 th Birthday Tush from Gill. Spent the day packing up and watching the racing.

Springspeed Nationals 2 to 4 May 09

Did not attend due to spare parts not available.

Easter Thunderball 10 to 13 April 09

Friday Guess what it rained most of the day so we never ran just prepared the car.

Saturday Started car for the first time this season with all new fuel system.

Sunday Warmed car ready for a run, went out for a run, did burnout ok but Jim had problem in car with the clutch which meant had problems getting forward gear, car launched hard then drifted to centre line so shut off, all in all what we planned to do. We replaced the clutch pack ready for a run on Monday.

Monday Bright and early checked bottom end of engine all ok, then found a problem with rocker arms on no 7 cylinder (both inlet and exhaust rockers were broke) could not fix the problem so that was that, over all a good weekend.

9 April 09 Car rebuilt and ready to race.

9 November 08 Car is awaiting rebuild..
